Jessica Simpson may have landed yet another blonde bimbo role. If your script calls for a brain dead, Pamela Anderson type, Jessica’s probably up for it. Last week we heard she’s been tapped to star in a movie version of Baywatch. This week the latest is that she may end up as part of the movie version Dallas.
The newly single Simpson spoke to MTV and bragged that she’d met with the big movie barons in charge of the film about joining the cast of the soap to movie translation. It’s appropriate, not just because her acting is about on par with that of the average soap star, but also because she’s a Texan. “I'm a Texas girl, so you can't go wrong there,” she affirms.
But it isn’t certain. She spoke with them, she wants a part in the movie, but nothing’s been signed. Jessica would be up for the role of Lucy Ewing, a character Lindsay Lohan is also reportedly in contention for. I’d crack a joke here about how horrible either option would be, except Lindsay Lohan actually has the potential to turn into a decent actress, if she ever takes a break from allegedly shoving cocaine up her nose. That’s just a rumor though. I’m sure she doesn’t do that.
