Jim Carrey And Jeff Daniels Practice Natural Hygiene Techniques In New Dumb And Dumber To Still
Dumb and Dumber's Harry and Lloyd, played by Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey respectively, tend to find themselves on the go quite a bit. The the first film they hopped into Harry's dog-shaped pet grooming van and took a trip out to Colorado to try and return a "lost" briefcase, and the upcoming sequel, Dumb and Dumber To, will put them on a road trip of a whole different variety. As a result of all this travel, they have to make due with the resources that are available to them and, as you can see in this brand new image, that includes taking care of personal hygiene in a waterfall.
Even though this is the rare image (which comes to us via PeliBlog) that comes with a description embedded right into the shot ("Cool. Refreshing. Dumb. Harry (Jeff Daniels) and Lloyd (Jim Carrey) take a shower"), it still doesn't really do much to explain what the hell is going on in this scene. Where are they that allows them access to such a beautiful bit of natural running water? How did they get their hands on such nice towels? Are the boys going to get sick from the bacteria bath they are partaking in? These are questions only the movie can provide answers to.
Directed by Bobby and Peter Farrelly, the filmmakers behind the first movie, Dumb and Dumber To finds Harry and Lloyd 20 years since we last saw them and back on a new adventure. Harry discovers that his brief fling with Fraida Felcher (Kathleen Turner) years ago resulted in a daughter that he never knew about, but what makes matters worse is that she is sick and needs an organ from a family member. He once again teams up with his best buddy Lloyd so that they can once again try and save the day. Laurie Holden, Rob Riggle, Rachel Melvin, and Steve Tom co-star in the sequel.
Dumb and Dumber To isn't scheduled to hit theaters until around Thanksgiving, so it may be a while before we actually get to see the film. That said, around this time last month I actually got to see a bunch of footage from the movie during the Universal Pictures presentation at the annual CinemaCon expo in Las Vegas. You can read my full description of what I got to see right HERE, but you can tell a lot about the movie from its opening scene alone:
If you're not intersted in seeing the movie after that description, I'm not sure how to help you. Dumb and Dumber To will be in theaters on November 14th.
