Illegal aliens who are planning on sneaking into the United States along our Southern border in the next year may want to pack extra cases of hair gel and sunglasses. John Malkovich wants to make them stars!
Malkovich is planning to make a documentary about the plight of kids who cross illegally into the States called Triple Crossing. Variety reports that he is hoping to “humanize the issue of illegal migration.” This will be Malkovich’s first documentary as a director and will probably be a lot different than Being John Malkovich, a documentary about a puppeteer that could control the actor’s body.
The movie will be produced by a Mexican production company owned by actors Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal. Malkovich is currently working in Mexico directing a play that stars Luna.
