Entertainment Weekly's 2012 preview issue should be coming out shortly and from all of the stuff that has already been released online it looks as though it will contain a lot of great stuff. We've already seen the cover as well as new stills from The Dark Knight Rises and Magic Mike. Now a new image from Tim Burton's Dark Shadows has surfaced online, giving us our best look yet at Johnny Depp as Barnabas Collins.

Though the magazine won't be available until tomorrow, Italian Johnny Depp fansite Johnnydepp-Italia.com(via Coming Soon) has apparently gotten their hands on a copy and have shared the new still with the world. Scope it out below and see the full-size scan over on their site.

This is actually our first really great look at Depp in character, as the only previous images had him either looking like Michael Jackson or standing in the background. It's nice to see that Burton hasn't overdone it with the makeup and that the character looks more like a normal vampire than someone out of Alice in Wonderland.

Due out on May 11, Dark Shadows also stars Eva Green, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jonny Lee Miller, Chloe Moretz, Helena Bonham Carter, Jackie Earle Haley, Christopher Lee and Bella Heathcote. The film doesn't yet have a trailer, but logic dictates that one probably isn't too far off. In the meantime, to learn more about the new Tim Burton film be sure to head over to our Blend Film Database.
