We all thought we were getting the inside scoop on Iron Man 2 from Jon Favreau's Twitter. But apparently it takes Empire Online to get more than 140 characters of thought out of the director, along with Mickey Rourke, who has joined the sequel as Russian baddie Whiplash.

Favreau talked to the British magazine about the challenges Tony Stark will be facing in the sequel. "Tony's expected to be a role model and I don't think he's ready to be one. He's under a great deal of pressure and when you're under pressure, I think you find outlets for that. That's one of the tensions of the film: it's one thing to say you're Iron Man, and another thing to actually become Iron Man."

Favreau also hinted that Rhodey (Don Cheadle), as we expected, will be stepping into some hardware this time around. And as for Rourke? ""I'm having the time of my life!" Read the rest of all these interviews at Empire.
