Smokin Aces Joe Carnahan is dropping vague hints about his next project over on SmokinJoeCarnahan.com. Could he be doing a superhero film next?
That seems to be what he’s getting at, in a post left on his site earlier this week, featuring only a picture of the X-Men villain Juggernaut and the words “I’ll let you guys go nuts over this one.” Speculation has ever since run rampant Either Joe is hinting at some sort of Juggernaut spin-off movie, or maybe he’s simply planning to work with Vinnie Jones, who did a rather lackluster job of playing Juggernaut in the last, Brett Ratner directed X-awful X-Men movie. Or, maybe Joe just likes screwing with people.
Carnahan’s next two projects are supposed to be White Jazz, a crime and corruption drama starring Charlize Theron, and Killing Pablo, a film about drug lord Pablo Escobar. I can’t see Vinnie Jones fitting into either of those.
