Kate Bosworth is known primarily for 3 things: 1) She has a romantic history with Orlando Bloom, 2) She is way too skinny, and 3) She has two different color eyes, which is probably the coolest thing about her. One thing she is not known for, however, is her acting skills, but she is hoping to change all of that soon.
According to Variety, Bosworth is set to star with Sigourney Weaver in the upcoming indie drama The Girl In The Park, directed by David Auburn. His name may sound familiar because he won several awards for writing the hit mathematical play “Proof”, but this film will mark his first venture into directing.
The story is about a woman (Weaver) who is still bummed about something terrible that happened 15 years ago: her 3-year-old daughter vanished without a trace. When she meets a troubled girl (Bosworth) in the park, she wonders if she could be her long-lost child. That is probably more reassuring than accepting that a lot of bums, dropouts, and drug-addicts hang out in parks. Oh well, at least everyone from all walks of life can appreciate the foliage.
Filming will begin in New York this November.
