The full trailer for this fall's The Legend of Zorro is out in all of its 156 seconds of glory. It's a sequel, and a swash-buckling action flick sequel at that so the trailer wisely sticks to sword play and explosions with the occasional moments of drama and comedy thrown in for good measure.
The plot leaks out a little bit with this one. The bad guys aren't just out to take over California...they're going after the whole enchilada. Some is out to take down the United States and only Zorro stands in their way. In the meantime the dashing hero (reprised by the equally dashing Antonio Banderas) must decide how to deal with taking up his heroic namesake despite a promise to his family that he has left his much appreciated but dangerous vigilante days behind.
It takes a lot to get me excited about a sequel, but this trailer has me psyched up to see The Legend of Zorro. I need a good sword-fighting action flick that doesn't involve and Zorro looks to deliver.
