Louis Leterrier Wants Avengers To Rule Your Summer
I guess it's becoming standard for anyone directing a Marvel movie to be asked about taking over on The Avengers. Jon Favreau shrugged off the question during the Iron Man 2 panel at Comic Con, and now The Incredible Hulk director Louis Leterrier is grappling with it in The LA Times.
And actually, the idea he has for making the Avengers movie is a pretty good one:
Leterrier talks lots, lots more about the Marvel universe in the article, including joking about getting kicked out of France if he took on the Captain America project. But it's the Avengers-in-installments idea that I really like, even if it seems unlikely that Marvel would be willing to take the risk of saturating a summer so thoroughly.
