Maggie Grace Follows The Guide

Maggie Grace met a tragic fate while prowling the island in “Lost”, and didn’t fare much better when reviews of her last movie The Fog were released. Is there a future for TV’s favorite pouter?

According to Variety, the answer is yes. Grace is in negotiations to join Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alec Baldwin in The Girls’ Guide To Hunting And Fishing. The best selling novel by Melissa Bank will be adapted for the big screen and directed by Marc Klein. He previously wrote Serendipity and will make his directorial debut in this comedy drama for Odd Lot Entertainment.

The story follows a young woman (Gellar) striving to stay afloat in the tough world of New York publishing, while also dealing with her dad’s fatal illness. After inviting the attention of a powerful older man, her life gets a bit more complicated. If the deal goes through, Grace will play her best friend Chloe, who is a down-to-earth swimsuit designer. And hopefully, this time, without a crush on her brother.

Shooting will begin this summer.
