Several miscellaneous, sort of reliable sources are reporting that Hitchhiker’s Guide’s morose Marvin has found his voice. Diminutive former Willow Warwick Davis is the guy inside the robot costume, but wry, sarcastic, and occasionally depressed thespian Alan Rickman will be giving him a voice.
It’s another home run in Hitchhiker’s movie casting, they haven’t missed a trick so far in filling in these characters. Ok, maybe not everyone is on board with Mos Def, but the more I see of the guy, the more I’m convinced he’s a perfect Ford Prefect fit. Throwing Alan Rickman in as the voice of the manic depressive Marvin is inspired, and should they figure out a way to get Zaphod’s second head right, just another indicator that there’s no need to panic. Hitchhiker’s Guide is on track.
