Meet The Fraternities And Sororities Of Monsters University
That's right: it turns out that not only are Mike and Sully - the two heroes of Pixar's upcoming Monsters University - the best of friends, they also happen to be brothers. What you see above is the "family portrait" of the Oozma Kappa fraternity at Monsters University, a collection of young monsters trying to earn their degree and become professional scarers. But OK isn't the only Greek house on campus.
Yahoo! has launched a new gallery that shows off all of the fraternities and sororities of the upcoming animated prequel, and in turn also delivers some images of characters both old (namely Randall Boggs - the monster voiced by Steve Buscemi) and new. Check out a few of them below - along with their official descriptions - and head over to the source to see even more.
Directed by Dan Scanlon, Monsters University is a prequel to 2001's Monsters Inc. and tells the story of how Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) and James 'Sully' Sullivan (John Goodman) first met in college. The twist, however, is that just because they ended up being the best of friends doesn't mean that it actually started that way. The film includes an impressive line-up of new voice actors to the Pixar family, including Helen Mirren, Dave Foley, Sean Hayes, Joel Murry and Julia Sweeney. Look for the film when it hits theaters on June 21st, and for a refresher course be sure to watch the theatrical trailer again below.
