More Bond Casting Rumors
IGN Filmforce is reporting that British actor David Suchet may be up for a role in upcoming Bond movie, Casino Royale.
Suchet, who has starred in TV's Poirot, Harry and the Hendersons and Executive Decision, is rumored to be up for one of two roles, either that of villian-of-the-piece Le Chiffre, or conversly the role of Bond's superior, M. Judi Dench will not be reprising the role of M due to 'continuity issues', a strange move given that their supposedly "younger" Bond isn't really matching continuity, but I digress.
Suchet's agent neither confirmed or denied reports, simply because being rumored to be up for a Bond movie, whether you are or not, can only be good for your career. Personally I see him more suitable as Bond's no-nonsense boss than a soviet agent who screwed up. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
