No More Rambo
Not many men have the balls to tell Harvey Weinstein, "No". The one man who does however, is John Rambo.
Sylvester Stallone has sent out a clear Rambo style message of "don't push me" to anyone who thinks that either of his two most famous roles will be making any sort of further comebacks. He says he's done and by the sounds of things, simply getting Rocky Balboa and Rambo made was such an exhastive process for him, he's had enough. And at 61, who could blame him.
"This is the last Rambo just as Rocky Balboa is the last Rocky," Stallone told the Guardian. "I can't go any further. It was a miracle that it even got done."
These comments come a couple of days after Harvey Weinstein went on record to say that he's planning a sequel and has an idea already in mind. So while Harvery might like the idea of a pensioner kicking ass and while it was nice in a way to see a couple of old heros out for one last hurrah, especially in a world where old heros are more commonly getting "rebooted" as younger and hipper reimaginings, don't expect to see John Rambo weilding a zimmer frame and hunting knife in the future.
