Did you know there is something called the Eddie Award? No, it’s not an award that I give out since I can’t afford to create gift bags and lure the superstars to an awards show held on my back porch. Instead, it’s the award given out by the American Cinema Editors.
This may come as a shock to you, but the American Cinema Editors Eddie Awards are given out for…editing movies. And television, but I’m ignoring that because this is CinemaBlend Movie News and those television people can fend for themselves, am I right? I’m not sure what constitutes a well edited film, but in general I guess it has to be a good film that gets a lot of attention in Best Picture and Top 10 discussions, since all the nominees do. You can see the full list on the ACE site, but I’ve also included them below.
The awards will be given out February 15th in Los Angeles.
