Napoleon Dynamite Finds Buddy Holly Alive On Ganymede
Every movie is an adaptation of a comic now. Even the ones about real people. For instance you might think the life of famed musician Buddy Holly would contain enough bullet points to justify the writing of an original script, but instead Hollywood's making a movie about him being adapted it from a comic book in which Buddy Holly takes over control of the world’s televisions.
The comic is called “Buddy Holly Is Alive and Well on Ganymede” and Variety says Jon Heder has been hired to star in it. Don’t worry, he’s not going to ruin the legacy of rock n’ roll icon Buddy Holly by playing him. Instead he’s been cast as Oliver Vale, an average geek (Hey, remember when being a geek meant weren’t average? In fact the word sort of meant weirdo social outcast. Better times. Or maybe I'm confusing geek with nerd. Well whichever it was that they used to shout at me before stealing my lunch money.) who is the only person in the world who understands why Buddy Holly is on every single television channel. This of course, leads to being chased by undercover aliens. Gosh!
