Nice Guy Johnny Isn't Great, But It's Better Than Its First Trailer

One of the many, many films I got to see at this year's Tribeca Film Festival was Ed Burns' Nice Guy Johnny. While certainly not the greatest film I saw at the festival, it was a serviceable movie about life in your 20s and had some genuinely funny moments. That said, don't watch the trailer for the film because you won't believe a word I just said.

Apple has released the video and it doesn't do the mediocre film any bit of justice. Believe it or not, the film does actually have a story and isn't just about pretty people playfully driving and talking a bout sleeping on the beach. In fact, the best part of the film, the character played by Ed Burns, doesn't get a second of screen time. I hesitate to recommend the film, but it's certainly better than what this trailer shows.

Check it out below or see it in HD over at Apple.
