I’m in the age group that’s supposed to care desperately about people like Notorious B.I.G., but when other kids were trying to dress like gangbangers I was busy being a tremendous dork. I have unfortunately remained a dork, which means I still don’t care about Biggie or any of his stupid rap war with whoever it was or whatever it was doing that got him killed. Unless of course this rap war was fought with lightsabers. That might get me excited. Until someone rewrites history to be more interesting to nerds though, I’ll be on the outside looking in while the rest of you get excited about Fox Searchlight’s new film about a fat, violent, rapper and his eventual murder.
