Olivia Williams Joins Arnold Schwarzenegger And Sam Worthington In Breacher

Written by Skip Woods and set to be directed by David Ayer, Breacher (formerly titled Ten) is set to follow ten DEA agents who manage to pull off a heist during a tactical raid and afterward, begin dying one by one. The more recent casting updates on the film have involved the people who will be playing the mentioned DEA agents, but this latest bit of news involves a role outside the group of thieving law enforcers. Joining Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sam Worthington in the action thriller is Olivia Williams, who will play a detective investigating the murders.
According to THR, Olivia Williams will play "a tenaciously cutthroat detective who's investigating the team murders." It seems likely that it's just a matter of time before she uncovers what they did.
Earlier this month, we shared the news that Malin Akerman was in talks to join Breacher as one of the agents, joining the team that includes Terrence Howard, Dawn Olivieri and Joe Manganiello.
Williams' recent credits include appearing in An Education and Hanna, as well as playing Adelle DeWitt in Joss Whedon's Dollhouse. Further back, she played the role of Bruce Willis' wife Anna Crowe in The Sixth Sense. Her upcoming films include Anna Karenina and Hyde Park on Hudson. Given her past performances and her proven ability to play a strong female role, her involvement in Breacher is one more reason to keep this thriller on our radar. THR says they're aiming to get the movie into production in Atlanta this October.
