Operation Kino 87: A Flight To A Galaxy Far, Far Away
This week on Operation Kino, we were planning to review Wreck-It Ralph, which was screening in New York on Tuesday… but if you don't know what happened to keep us from that screening, well, we'll save the surprise for you. But we were all on high ground long enough to review Robert Zemeckis's Flight instead, and then jump into a conversation about this new Star Wars film that's happening, and whether it matters who directs it (and who that person might be). Plus a lightning round inspired by Wreck-It Ralph, then tidbits about Boy Meets World, more on the Disney-Lucasfilm deal, Cloud Atlas, and David's hurricane saga, in which he learns the hard way that bodegas cannot always save your ass. We end, as always, with your lightning round answers for dessert.
