Pacino Tackles History
There are a few actors you don’t want to meet in a dark alley – Al Pacino is one of them. He’ll give you the kiss of death and then cut you faster than you can yell “Whoo-Ah!” However, those brave souls at IESB.net tracked down Al and made him an offer he couldn’t refuse. He tells them about his latest projects, and the watch Babbleonia the retrospective documentary of Pacino’s work.
Pacino took the offer and sang like pigeon about his latest works -- a pair of bio-pics. Biography movies are all the rage these days and Pacino is hoping on board with an unlikely combination. He’s starring as surrealist artist Salvador Dali in Dali & I: The Surreal Story, directed by Andrew Niccol, and he’s interested in playing history’s biggest little dictator Napoleon Bonaparte. Unfortunately, Dali & I: The Surreal Story is being held up for whatever reason and Pacino is not actively pursuing the Napoleon role. However, Babbleonia can be seen exclusively in the The Al Pacino Collection, coming to DVD on June 19.
