Paris Goes Bottoms Up
According to Hollywood Reporter, Paris Hilton is going to star in a movie opposite Jason Mewes. Rest assured, it won't be that kind of movie. The duo will star in Bottoms Up, about a Midwestern bartender (Mewes) who falls in love with Paris's character, as he pursues a career in Hollywood. The film is supposedly similar to Swingers which means it definitely won't be half as good.
The independent comedy will be backed by Paul Walker's Blue Collar Films and Cameo FJ Entertainment. Walker will possibly make a cameo in the first film backed by his new production company. The script is written by relative newcomers Nick Ballo and Erik MacArthur, with MacArthur also directing the project.
Mewes is best known for his role as Jay (buddy of Silent Bob) in Kevin Smith's films. He has also made headlines for an unfortunate heroin addiction that has brought him to court on several occasions. Hilton is famous for...well, nothing. She is like the uninvited guest that crashes a lot of cool parties and people are too drunk to notice she doesn't belong there.
Bottoms Up will be released in 2006.
