Prepare For The World's End With The Famous Newton Haven Golden Mile Pub Crawl
Prepare ye, prepare ye, for the pub crawl to end all pub crawls… because, actually, after this one, pub crawls and everything else on this earth may be over entirely, at least for everyone except the robots. But of course, before you can reach the pub called The World's End, you've got to do the full Newton Haven Golden Mile Pub Crawl. And what is Newton Haven you may be asking? Well, that's what this promotional video is here to tell you.
If you can get past the grainy 70s cinematography, you may notice that things go a little haywire at the 40-second mark… and that's what we're really looking forward to seeing when The World's End finally comes to theaters on August 23. If you can't wait that long, and you're planning to make your way to San Diego Comic Con in a few weeks, you're in a for a treat. Not only will director Edgar Wright and stars Nick Frost and Simon Pegg be on hand for a panel in Hall H on Friday, July 19, but there will also be an early screening of the film-- much like the way Wright delighted fans with an early look at Scott Pilgrim vs. The World at Comic-Con three years ago.
To make sure you're up to date on everything happening with The World's End at Comic-Con, follow @TheGoldenMileCC for information on that and other events they'll have going on throughout the Con. And keep an eye on the Internet over the two weeks-- we'll be among several sites debuting exclusive pub signs for all the pubs featured on the famous Golden Mile pub crawl. (The first one has already popped up at Coming Soon!) Those pub signs will also be trading cards that you can collect all oer the place at Comic-Con-- but you have to be paying attention! Collect them all… and we'll see you in San Diego.
For more on The World's End, you can also visit the film's official Facebook page. And here are the full details about the Comic Con events:
Finally, here's the trailer for The World's End to catch you on on all the pub crawl activities... and the robotic nastiness that may await at The World's End.
