Disney has released a new poster for The Princess and the Frog. It lacks the artistic flair of the teaser one sheet but it’s more obvious which is probably what you want when you’re courting little kids who’ve been spoiled by 3D effects and computer animated whiz-bangs.
It’s based, of course, on the classic Frog Prince tale except with a Disney twist. The kiss goes awry, the princess (who is actually just a barmaid) turns into a frog and ends up hopping through the magical Louisiana swamps. I guess the mud gives the crocodiles mystic powers… or something. Here’s the poster:
