Slither is easily one of my most anticipated films for 2006, not because I expect it to be some big cinematic piece of art, but because I think it’ll be a fun ride. The latest publicity to hit the web reinforces this with a more graphic look at the movie and a few more pictures.
iFilm has a new look at the movie with the red band trailer for Slither. There’s no nudity (surprisingly) but the f-bomb gets dropped a time or two – appropriate for a town being invaded by some kind of alien slug I think. More interestingly, the trailer shows Michael Rooker transforming after his run in with the creatures and Elizabeth Banks’s attempt to maintain her marriage vows in the face of… well, in the face of a mutant version of her husband.
CHUD has found a couple of new stills for the movie as well, so it really looks like the film is ramping up for its March 31st release.
