Our Josh Tyler caught the first trailer for Race for Witch Mountain last week at a sneak peek of Disney's latest family-friendly effort, Bolt. Now the rest of the world can see what he did, with the high-res trailer online courtesy of Trailer Addict.
The plot is apparently similar to the original Witch Mountain film (you kids of the 70s can feel free to correct me). A Las Vegas cabdriver unwittingly picks up a pair of teenagers who actually turn out to be aliens, capable of stopping speeding cars and levitating things and, y'know, the usual alien superpowers. The two of them are in a hurry to get to Witch Mountain, where their spaceship awaits them. If they don't make it back in time, though, for reasons that aren't explained in the trailer, the aliens attack!
I'm always up for a good adventure, and will need something to look forward to next March aside from Watchmen. Watch it in high-res at Yahoo or check out the below trailer and see if you think The Rock's latest attempt to reach out to the kids will be a good one.
