Red Band Trailer For Porn Drama About Cherry, Starring James Franco And Heather Graham
It's only fitting that a movie about porn starring Heather Graham would come out this week. Last weekend, of course, saw the debut of The Master, the new film from Paul Thomas Anderson who is known to many people as the director of Boogie Nights, probably the best movie about the porn industry that has ever been made. And while the upcoming About Cherry doesn't look like it's going for the same kind of scope that Boogie Nights achieved back in 1997, it still looks like an interesting drama.
While you may remember this trailer from back in January, The Playlist has gotten their hands on the red band trailer for the drama - complete with plenty of boobs, as you probably expected - and provided you're not at work and over 18 you can watch it below.
The debut from writer/director Stephen Elliott, About Cherry stars Ashley Hinshaw as Angelina, a troubled young girl who moves to San Francisco only to get pulled deep into the porn industry and tied in with a cocaine-addicted lawyer (James Franco). Deve Patel co-stars while Lili Taylor plays Hinshaw's character's mother and Graham plays a porn director. The film is currently available on-demand and will get a limited release in theaters on September 21st.
