Remaking remade remakes
It's Freaky Friday all over again.
Warner Bros are planning a remake of the classic 1955 cold-war paranoia sci-fi, Invasion Of The Body Snatchers, to be written by the interestingly named Dave Kajganich.
For those not keeping score this will be the fourth Body Snatchers incarnation.
A more well known version of Invasion Of The Body Snatchers was remade in 1977 starring Leonard Nimoy without Spock ears and Donald Sutherland with a scary perm.
It was then given a pseudo-sequel/remake in 1993 by director Abel Ferrara starring "where is she now" girl-of-the-moment Gabrielle Anwar.
It's ironic that a movie about aliens "remaking/reimaging" people to their own insidious evil ends should be remade/reimagined to the studio's own insidious evil ends.
