Rob Zombie Returns With New Trailer For The Lords Of Salem

Rob Zombie has been on a bit of hiatus these last could of years. While his first string of films - including House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, Halloween and Halloween II - all came out within two years of each other. The last title on that list, however, came back in 2009 and he hasn't had a feature released since. But that doesn't mean he hasn't been working.

The filmmaker has spent the last couple years developing the witch-based horror The Lords of Salem and with he film finally getting set to have a theatrical release a new trailer has arrived online. Watch it below courtesy of Apple.

At the end of the trailer you may have noticed the URL www.lordsofsalem.com/win. Going to the site redirects you to the movie's official Facebook page where where you can sign up and get a personal invitation from Rob Zombie to join the official sweepstakes.

In theaters on April 19th, The Lords of Salem stars Sheri Moon Zombie as Heidi, a DJ at a small radio station in Salem, Massachusetts - the epicenter of the infamous witch trials in the earliest days of America. One day Heidi discovers a small wooden box with a record inside it and a note that says "a gift from the Lords." Upon listening to the vinyl she begins to have strange flashbacks and questions if the Lords of Salem are coming back to take their revenge. The film's cast also features Bruce Davidson, Jeffrey Daniel Phillips, Ken Foree, Patricia Quinn, Dee Wallace, Maria Conchita Alonso, Judy Gleeson, Meg Foster, and Griffin Boice.
