Rome Museum Gets Dark Knight Concept Art

The title of The Dark Knight in Italian is Il Cavaliere Oscuro, which I think is an even cooler title than the one we get. Maybe Warner Bros. thinks so too, and that's the reason why they've chosen to bless the city of Rome with a whole exhibit displaying concept art, costumes and even the Bat Pod from the hugely anticipated movie.

The Italian website Bad Taste has the whole dish, though since it's written in Italian you'll just have to take my word for what's written there. The site also shows two pieces of concept art sent along by Warner Bros., which are purportedly of the design of the Batcave. But you can clearly see in the middle of one drawing, at right, the title "The Dark Knight." Does Batman really have his own overdramatic name written in the Batcave? Isn't it more likely that that's the design for the exhibit itself?

Either way, it sounds like a great exhibit, so if you just happen to be visiting the Pope sometime between July 13 and 17, stop by and visit the Dark Knight. Of course, you'll probably be busy standing in line outside the the theater for your tickets to the movie, so maybe you should just rely on seeing the drawings on the site.
