Schwarzenegger Deals Out Bloody Justice In The Last Stand Red Band Trailer
When it comes to Arnold Schwarzenegger action movies, the equation for success is quite simple: give the star plenty of guns, allow him to bring the beat down on all of the bad guys, and always load up all of his dialogue with the best one-liners you can think of. And that's exactly what the brand new red band trailer for The Last Stand does.
The brand new spot has arrived over on Yahoo! and, if you'll pardon the gun pun, it's a blast. Sure, you don't get a great deal of story from the preview, but how much plot do you really need when you can just watch Arnie fire a Gatling gun out of the back of a school bus?
The first American film from Korean director Kim Jee-woon (The Good, the Bad, the Weird), The Last Stand stars Schwarzenegger as Ray Owens, a sheriff living a peaceful life in a small border town in Arizona. This all changes, however, when he learns that the extremely dangerous leader of a drug cartel(Eduardo Noriega) has managed to escape federal custody and is driving down in a supercar trying to cross into Mexico. With the FBI unable to stop their escaped convict it becomes up to Owens and his ragtag group of deputies to stop the villain and bring him to justice. The script was written by newcomer Andrew Knauer and the great supporting cast includes Forest Whitaker, Jaimie Alexander, Johnny Knoxville, Peter Stormare, Rodrigo Santoro, Luis Guzman and Genesis Rodriguez.
