While giving an interview to Newspaper The Sun, everyone’s favorite pony tailed karate guy Steven Seagal had some interesting things to say about an upcoming project.
“Jackie [Chan] and I have talked about Rush Hour 3. I'd be playing the villain,” said Seagal. “We've long looked for something to work on together and this could be it. Jackie is someone I have admired for many years. I shudder to think who would win in the on-screen fights, but that'll keep it interesting for the viewer.” Hmm. Jackie works pretty fast while Seagal fights slower than quadripolegic hardcore porn....I wonder. He then adds: “I hope it happens. If the scripts good, then I'll definitely be interested.” Yeah, like he really bases his projects on the writing. Pff.
There is no confirmation of this from New Line Cinema as to the validity of this statement. Chances are Stevie’s stirring the pot for press. Rush Hour 3 has been in development hell since 2001. No word yet on when the green light will actually be lit.
