See The New James Bond Movie's Breathtaking Visuals
James Bond has proven himself comfortable in just about every action-heavy/dangerous situation, and that most certainly includes skiing. We've seen many 007s hit the slopes over the years, and looking at these beautiful new official Spectre images, it appears that Daniel Craig will be soon be joining those ranks.

With Spectre currently in production, the official James Bond Facebook page has posted a series of new photos from the set, capturing the cast as they visit the Austrian ski resort of Sölde. It wasn't just Daniel Craig's Bond who was on hand, however. The gallery also featured pictures of Léa Seydoux, who is playing the new Bond girl Madeleine Swann in the movie:

And also Dave Bautista, who is playing Hinx (a henchman character who is said to be in the tradition of Jaws and Oddjob)

It's perhaps a bit presumptuous to assume that these great looking pictures suggest that Spectre will feature a skiing sequence, but I honestly hope it does. While it's true that Sean Connery's incarnation of the character didn't have the chance to do battle on skis during his tenure, every other Bond since has done it - including George Lazenby (On Her Majesty’s Secret Service), Roger Moore (The Spy Who Loved Me, For Your Eyes Only, A View To A Kill), Timothy Dalton (The Living Daylights) and Pierce Brosnan (The World is Not Enough). Given how Skyfall did such a great job playing with the traditions of the 007 franchise, I kind of expect that to return in Spectre, and that could very well happen in the form a of a snow-filled action scene.

Austria is just one of the many international locations that the Spectre production will be visiting over the next few months, as it was confirmed a few months ago that there will also be filming done on location in Rome and Morocco. Beyond that, the rest of the shooting will be done at Pinewood Studios in England - which just saw the departure of Star Wars: The Force Awakens a couple months ago. The film, which also stars Christoph Waltz, Ralph Fiennes, Monica Bellucci, Ben Whishaw, and Naomie Harris, will be in theaters on November 6, 2015.
