See Zoolander And Hansel Show Up At Paris Fashion Week

It’s official: Zoolander 2 is happening, as Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson took to the runways of Paris Fashion Week to cement the announcement and start promoting the sequel. Want to see Wilson and Stiller on the catwalk? Of course you do! Play the video below to see Derek and Hansel, back in all of their glory.

Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson made a huge splash on social media by reprising their infamous roles of Derek Zoolander and Hansel from the 2001 cult comedy classic. While we have been reporting on possible developments of a rumored Zoolander 2, this catwalk stunt in Paris at the Valentino Fashion Show was the first official event tied to the announcement of the sequel… and, for all we know, a scene from the movie that we’ll eventually see next February.

Oh, that’s right. Paramount officially confirmed that Zoolander 2 will reach theaters on February 12, 2016. They even launched a Facebook page, and created the hashtag #Zoolander2. Since I’m not up to date on the finest fashions, I have to rely on what the studio tells me regarding their outfits.

Derek wears a custom Night Butterflies brocade suit with hand-embroidered overcoat and black Creeper shoes.Hansel wears a Silk Continent print Pajama suit with Double Cashmere overcoat and Open sneakers.

And while they were in Paris, Stiller and Wilson… er, Derek and Hansel met a few of their idols – notably, Vogue icon Anna Wintour!

And the Zoolander 2 fun continued as the actors played backstage.

Now it’s time for some confirmations. We had heard that Ben Stiller would direct Zoolander 2, or pass the baton to Justin Theroux. We’d heard that Will Ferrell was in for the sequel. Now that we have an official release date, expect details to fly in. For now, are you excited that this sequel officially is happening?
