A few weeks ago we heard rumors that Warner Bros. long-gestating Flash movie may be finally off and running with a director. Word was that Greg Berlanti was the top contender to helm the superhero picture. Now a few weeks later, it sounds like there’s still no firm commitment for him to direct The Flash.
In fact Berlanti wouldn’t even comment on the rumors that he might be in the running for the film. But tonight at ShoWest he did tell us that he's not committed to do anything until after he finishes his current movie, Life As We Know It.That means, if indeed he’s really in talks to direct it at all, work on The Flash would have to wait until late this year. Life As We Know It isn’t due to be released until December. The Flash maybe off and running at Warner Bros, but if Berlanti really is directing, he’s not running very fast yet.
