Speedman pre-Smurf in Underworld 2
Scott Speedman is moving on from Smurfdom to working with Willem Dafoe. The Underworld: Evolution star has signed up to star with Willem in the Indie film Anamorph according to Variety.
The movie is a thriller in which Dafoe plays a detective named Stan Aubray, drawn into an investigation that bears a strange resemblance to a previous case. Things go badly when Aubray starts to realize that the previous case may not have turned out as he thought.
No word on who Speedman will play, it’s likely he’ll either be a partner or a killer. There’s not much else in this sort of movie.
The movie is being directed by H.S. Miller, whose first task as director should be to consider changing the movie’s name, since the current title sounds like a bad Saturday Morning Kids TV “Power Rangers” rip off.
