Spider-Man Reboot Coming In 3D
No surprise here. Sony’s Spider-Man reboot that no one wants to see is happening in 3D. Now you can not want to see it while wearing silly glasses. The news comes from Deadline where they received an announcement from Sony.
The movie still doesn’t have a title, assume the word Spider-Man will be in it somewhere, but it does have a director in Marc Webb and a screenplay from James Vanderbilt. They expect to begin production on it later this year.
Does Spider-Man need to be in 3D? Why not. It should work wonders on all the swinging between buildings. It might add something to the experience. But I still say a movie like this is the exception rather than the rule. Most movies don’t need to be in 3D. Most movies don’t have webslinging.
