Star Wars: Episode 7 Costumes For Han Solo Leak Online
From everything we have been hearing, J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode VII is going to focus heavily on Han Solo. We think that the charismatic anti-hero likely, will embark on a mission to relocate his former buddy Luke Skywalker, who might have been off the grid for decades. And while we will meet several new faces, Abrams has reworked his screenplay to focus primarily on the original Star Wars cast, with Captain Solo at the lead. Harrison Ford’s injury might have tabled the film’s momentum, but now that he’s back, Han can swing back into action … and we might now know what he’ll be wearing in select scenes.
The folks over at Indie Revolver claim to have a very reliable source close to Star Wars: Episode VII. Hot on the heels of the Stormtrooper images the site shared, they now have two photos of what they believe are character sketches of Harrison Ford’s Han Solo in two different outfits.
"These coats would fit right in on Hoth or Endor," the site notes, while also explaining (correctly, in fact) that J.J. Abrams and his team aren’t married to previous planets that were featured in the previous six Star Wars movies. In fact, as Abrams already has filmed in Ireland, London and the Abu Dhabi, we’re keeping our hopes up that Episode VII takes audiences to far-away planets not yet explored in these galaxies. In which case, Han Solo might also have to try this coat on.
Indie Revolver claims to have seen multiple sketches of outfits for Han Solo, and notes that "in all of the sketches his belt now has a second holster on his left hip. It’s a mirror image of the one on the right. Will Han wield two guns in his old age?"
It’s cooler than crutches.
We know that Star Wars: Episode VII will have Han, Leia, Chewbacca and the Millenium Falcon. What will they be doing? What will they be wearing? Details keep trickling in. We’ll know all of it, for certain, when the movie finally opens on Dec. 18, 2015.
