Suicide Squad Shares An Epic Photo As Production Finally Wraps
Production on Suicide Squad sounds like it’s been one hell of a journey. Not only have the likes of Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, and Jai Courtney been tasked with creating DC’s more anarchic version of Guardians Of The Galaxy, they’ve also had to put up Ben Affleck’s Batman causing mayhem on set just through his appearance, Comic-Con, and an abundance of tattoos. But now all of that is over, and to celebrate/commiserate, director David Ayer uploaded a rather magnificent picture to Twitter showing everyone on set together.
Doesn’t everyone look terrific? Front and center you can see Will Smith’s delightful, beaming smile, while if you look close enough you can also pick out Cara Delivigne, Margot Robbie, and the rest. Plus, those of you with extra special vision might notice that there are two Killer Crocs, but no Joker, amidst the cavalcade of production talent that worked tirelessly to bring Suicide Squad to the big screen. Now all David Ayer and his team have to do is edit it together.
It’s been quite a long shoot for everyone involved in Suicide Squad. Principal photography actually began all the way back in early April, when the crew gathered in Toronto, Canada, to film the exploits of The Joker, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Rick Flag, Boomerang, Enchantress, Killer Croc, and Amanda Waller.
But, clearly everyone involved has bonded during this extended experience. In fact, to celebrate the production coming to an end, David Ayer (Fury, End Of Watch, Sabotage) also shared some additional photos of the cast and crew saying their goodbyes.
If you haven’t been keeping up with the antics on the Suicide Squad set, you might not be aware that some of the cast sought something a little more permanent to remind themselves of their time making the film. Yep, that’s right, Ayer, Cara Delevingne, Margot Robbie, and Jai Courtney each decided to get tattoos to prove just how much fun they’ve had. Don’t believe me? Then check out this photo below:
Told you. We’ll get to see if all their bonding and fun and tattoos were well worth it when Suicide Squad is finally released next summer on August 7, 2016.
