So I forgot a few Superman rumors? Sue me! I have more rumors to pass around and others to debunk.
After playing the Son of God and the greatest golfer of all time, what’s next for Jim Caviezel? While he hasn’t been offered the role, he would be very interested in playing the Man of Steel.
When asked about the rumor Caviezel’s manager, Beverly Dean, stated "Would he like to do it? He loves Superman," she told The Associated Press. "But the truth is there has been no offer, the script isn't even finished - but absolutely he'd be interested."
Caviezel is an outstanding actor but he might be too old for the role. I’m sure Superma geeks can fill me in on the aging process of Krypton; I’m just not sure. But compared to every other rumor, this is great news. In other news, Matt Damon expressed his disinterest in the project.
Another internet rumor is the one about Christopher Reeve’s involvement. As of right now, you can file that rumor under wishful speculation. When we find out more, we’ll let you know.
