Take A Closer Look At The Costumes For Zack Snyder's Man Of Steel

We are now just a little over a month away from the release of Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises, but that also means we are likely just a little over a month away from our first look at Zack Snyder's Man of Steel. Because both movies are based on DC properties and Nolan served as producer on the latter, it is expected that the release of the new Batman film will also deliver the brand new Superman. Up until now we've gotten a few good glimpses at the project, courtesy of crafty on-set photographers, but today delivers some of the most detailed looks at Man of Steel yet.

Coming Soon has taken some photos at the annual Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, where apparently they have put some of the brand new costumes from the Superman film up on display. While its a bit of a challenge in some instances to figure out exactly whose costume belongs to who, some of the images below are clearly of Superman's suit as well as the costumes for both Jor-El and Lara Lor-Van (Supes' Kryptonian parents). Check out a few of the pictures below and head over to Coming Soon for the full gallery.

Man of Steel, based on a script by David S. Goyer, stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Laurence Fishburne, Russell Crowe, Harry Lennix and Christopher Meloni. The film isn't due out until June 14, 2013, but keep checking back here on Cinema Blend for the first trailer and you can always read more about the movie in our Blend Film Database.
