Take A Look Behind The Scenes Of Neighborhood Watch
Neighborhood Watch is easily one of my most anticipated summer comedies from this year, and it's not only because laughs seem few and far between on the schedule. The script was written by the great Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (who brought us the fantastic Superbad and Pineapple Express); Akiva Schaffer, best known for being part of the always-hilarious Lonely Island, is behind the camera; both Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller are overdue for a real comedic treat; and the supporting cast includes names like Richard Ayoade, Jonah Hill, Will Forte, Billy Crudup, Doug Jones and Rosemarie DeWitt. Being a summer comedy, we have a few months to wait before the film will be arriving in theaters, but today Hill took to his Twitter account to give us a look behind-the-scenes of the film.
Check it out below.
What's kind of disappointing about this image is that with the exception of the lighting it's basically the same thing as the first official still that was released a while back. It's also worth noting that Hill tweeted the photo to announce the completion of filming, meaning that it will now head into the editing stage and final cuts will be made before the movie's July 27 release date.
The film is about a group of dads that feel like they need to spend some time away from their wives and families and organize a neighborhood watch group. The only problem is that while they are hanging out they accidentally uncover an alien plot that threatens to destroy the planet.
