Taken's Bryan Mills Has A LinkedIn Profile And It's Awesome
When we first get to know who Liam Neeson's Bryan Mills really is in Pierre Morel's Taken, it's basically because he's delivering his resume over the phone to a bunch of kidnappers. We all know the line: "If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you." Well, with Taken 3 on the horizon, 20th Century Fox has taken it to the next level by actually giving Bryan Mills his own LinkedIn profile.
Set up with the profile name "BryanMillsSecurity," the page is fully filled out to sell Bryan Mills as one hell of a professional ass-kicker. Selling himself as a "security consultant," the profile explains that he is looking for covert operations work and can be very useful when employed by the right people. As it says in the "Summary" section:
Most impressive, however, is the depth of his resume, which provides background on Bryan Mills that dates back in July 1990. Due to the nature of the work, he can't go into full detail about exactly what he has done over the course of his career, but he still comes across as quite impressive. It's also quite strange to learn that he his extreme confidence in speaking Pashto, labeling himself as having "Full professional proficiency," while his skills in Russian, Albanian and Arabic are a bit weaker.
The profile also has some opportunity for interaction for Taken fans. Like all LinkedIn pages, if you connect with a person's profile, you can recommend their skills in certain areas. At this time fans have already given Bryan Mills top marks in fields like security, firearms, international relations, security management, and physical security.
Closing out the Taken trilogy, Olivier Megaton's Taken 3 - or Tak3n - will be arriving in theaters on January 9th, and in addition to the returning Famke Janssen, and Maggie Grace, the new movie will also star franchise newcomers Forest Whitaker, Dogray Scott, Sam Spruell, Leland Orser.
