Tara Reid Tries Honestly
Former nookie girl and future homeless person Tara Reid’s career may not be quite as dead as we’d all assumed. Though her biggest screen credit in the past three years is a part in an Uwe Boll movie, she’s getting a brief respite from her plunge to acting obscurity. Well sort of.
The Hollywood Reporter says she’s been signed to star in a new romantic comedy called Honestly. The film is about a hard-boiled female private eye who earns her living tempting philandering husbands for suspicious wives. As you’ve no doubt already guessed, she falls for one of her jobs. What’s a girl with incredibly bad plastic surgery to do?
The good news for Tara is that she’s working. The bad news is that the movie stars Vinnie Jones and former NFL running back Eddie George. Now I like Vinnie, but he’s hardly suitable as a rom-com love interest. That means the male lead is being played by a football player. They’d have been better off just casting a wrestler. At least they have acting experience, of a sort. Worse, the movie is directed by Tara Reid’s brother Tommy and produced through her production company, which might explain how she managed to talk someone into giving her a part.
