When it comes right down to it, Quentin Tarntino has only made three good movies and the last one came out in 1997. Still, he’s someone with a singular talent and that means you shouldn’t snicker behind your hand when you hear he wants to remake a Russ Meyer movie. Meyer made a lot of really crappy movies in the 1960’s that most people saw mainly because they featured chicks with big hooters. His movies were what horny guys watched before Cinemax.

According to Variety columnist Liz Smith, Tarantino would like to remake Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! with Kim Kardashian, Eva Mendes, and Britney Spears as the three females on the run through the desert. The original has become a cult hit, but that seems to be based on the silly title and other “so bad it’s good” qualities that are common to Meyer’s work.

At this point, it doesn’t seem that Tarantino has anyone actually interested in giving him the money to make this movie. He also didn’t reveal any plot points other than he’d like to make this version “even raunchier.” No one in his dream cast would likely be interested in making the film and I can’t imagine why anyone would want to see it. Maybe you should snicker behind your hand after all.
