The A-Team Trailer Coming This Weekend, Details Revealed
Few 2010 films are going to cause more internal conflict among moviegoers than Joe Carnahan's film adaptation of The A-Team. On the one hand, it has built up a stellar cast that includes Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Sharlto Copley and Patrick Wilson, and could very well be a fun action film that stays true to the original TV series. On the other hand, the cast also includes the not-so-talented Jessica Biel, an mixed martial arts fighter-turned-actor in Rampage Jackson, and is directed by the same guy who gave us Smokin' Aces. Luckily a trailer that gives us some sense of how the movie will look will deliver some peace this weekend.
AICN has received an in-depth description of the first trailer for the film, which clocks in at 1:41. Here is a little taste:
While I am glad to hear, though not surprised, that they are keeping some of the most classic details from the TV series, I am a touch disappointed that, of the four main characters, District 9's Copley gets the least amount of screen time. From an advertising standpoint it makes sense, as B.A. Baracus is by far the most recognizable character and Neeson and Cooper are established names, but it was the casting of Murdock that really piqed my interest in the project. But I suppose that's what happens when you have starred in a grand total of one movie in your life.
As for the trailer itself, be sure that we will post it the second it comes online and for more trailer details, head on over to AICN.
