Tekken Blood Vengeance Coming To Theaters In 3D
One of the best fighting games ever made is making the transition to movies. What's more, it's coming to theaters, and it’s coming in 3D.
The movie, based on the characters of Tekken and titled Tekken Blood Vengeance is splashing across screens in America thanks to Fathom Events, who plan to show it for one night only on Tuesday, July 26, at 7:30pm. The film will be presented in RealD 3D and once it’s over, stay in your seat, because they’ll follow it up with exclusive behind the scene interviews featuring the film’s director and writer.
So what’s this Tekken movie like? Check out the trailer:
Alright so the animation’s not really any better than your average, video game cut scene. I mean, not at all better. And it definitely needs some Eddie Gordo. But if you’re a fan of Tekken, maybe it’ll be fun anyway. Here’s a tip Fathom: Set up a bunch of arcade consoles in the lobby, you’ll make millions in quarters.
Strangely enough, there's actually a live-action Tekken movie floating around out there as well. Only, that movie won't get a theatrical release. Instead it's going straight to DVD.
