Tell-All On Dr.Death
For the first time ever, controversial physician Jack Kevorkian's life story will be revealed in the form of a motion picture. There is more to the mysterious man than helping sick people enter the mortuary.
According to Hollywood Reporter, Barbara Turner (Pollock) will adapt the biography You Don't Know Jack for the big screen. That is a great title if ever I heard one. Barbara Kopple (Havoc) will sit in the director's chair.
Kevorkian is currently sitting in a jail cell, after allowing the show "60 Minutes" to broadcast the death of one of his patients in 1998. Since euthanasia is not yet legal (we're an evolved country, I swear!) he is serving a 15-25 year sentence. He is already 77 years old, so hopefully he'll be alive by the time he is free. Kevorkian is a courageous, interesting fella, and a movie about him definitely has my vote.
