Three out of the Fantastic Four are official. Casting has been completed for the Roles of Johnny “The Human Torch” Storm, Ben“The Thing” Grimm, and Reed “Mr. Fantastic” Richards. Unlike the George Clooney and Paul Walker rumors that circulated everywhere, the casting couldn't have been anymore unpredictable. The three that are cast, are official. No rumors here, they are in the flick.
Iaon Gruffudd will make the stretch for Mr. Fantastic. Famous for his title role in the A&E movies of “Horation Hornblower”, currently Gruffudd can be seen in King Arthur as Lancelot.
Michael Chiklis, the multi-time Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner from the hit FX series “The Shield” will be the man of orange rock.
Chris Evans is a flamer. By that I mean he is The Human Torch. Earlier this year he appeared in The Perfect Score and this September he can be seen saving Kim Basinger from the clutches of Jason Statham in Cellular.
As of this moment, Sue “Invisible Woman” Storm has yet to be cast. Rumors indicated Elisha Cithbert (Girl Next Door), Rachel McAdams (The Notebook), Jessica Alba (Honey), and Keri Russell (WB’s “Felicity”) are all possibilities.
The Fantastic Four is said to be hitting theatres next summer.
