Tony Stark Won't Do Cameos

I’m not sure we had any reason to expect anything else, but just in case you did, here’s this: Tony Stark won’t do any cameos. While the last scene in Iron Man 2 sets up Thor by revealing Thor’s hammer, that doesn’t mean Iron Man will show up in Thor’s movie, or any of the other upcoming Marvel movies like Captain America.
Comic Book Movie caught Iron Man 2 director and Avengers exec producer Jon Favreau on local LA radio where speaking of Tony Stark revealed, “He's not in Thor, he's not in Cap which are the two movies for next Summer. It'll be very interesting to see how the Marvel Universe branches off. All of these movies are going to be taken into account for The Avenger' in two years.”
So no more Tony Stark for a couple of years. Iron Man may be Marvel’s marquee character, but he can’t do everything.
